It is recommended that students train twice weekly to gain more benefit in their Tae Kwon-Do training.

To enable the student eligible to grade, you are expected to have trained a minimum of 75% between grading’s.

From white belt to blue stripe, grading’s are taken every 3 months, and from blue belt to black stripe, grading’s are taken every 6 months, Black belts vary in timescale.

Before a student can grade, they are tested on an assessment and held 1 week prior to the actual grading. Please note that the student must be successful on the assessment before being put forward to grade.

A grading consists of practical and theoretical parts in which the student demonstrates his/her Tae Kwon-Do techniques in front of the grading examiner and is then asked questions on Tae Kwon-Do and its history.
